Global leaders hail President Kenyatta’s inauguration as climate champion
Global leaders have welcomed Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta’s appointment as the Global Champion for the Africa Adaptation Acceleration Program (AAAP).
Former Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban-Ki-Moon and Global Center on Adaptation are among those who celebrated the Kenyan leader for the recognition at the Leaders Dialogue on Adaptation Action in Africa in Nairobi on Thursday, 7 July.
