T he world’s river deltas are sinking and shrinking from human activity, making them increasingly vulnerable to flooding from rivers and ocean storms, and putting hundreds of millions of people at risk.

We need to tackle the systemic threats to the delta by working together with partners to develop, fund and implement nature-based solutions.

The Community of Practice on Deltas and Coastal Areas will carry out knowledge exchanges and webinars to identify innovations that can be shared across the world’s deltas and support learning across networks and geographies. Find out more in the Water Adaptation Community
