Event description
The University of Nairobi, in partnership with the Global Center on Adaptation, will host the second edition of the Climate Adaptation Changemakers School from March 24 to March 28, 2024. During the four-day program, participants will explore how to conduct climate risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop adaptation strategies to bolster infrastructure resilience. They will acquire practical tools to incorporate climate considerations into project management for infrastructure projects and learn about Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to facilitate effective collaborations between public and private sector entities. Emphasizing strategic approaches and resource mobilization techniques, the event will empower practitioners to access funding for climate-resilient infrastructure projects, drawing upon the expertise of the Climate-Resilient PPPs Masterclasses to provide actionable insights and case studies for implementation.
