This impact report presents the key achievements and outcomes from the partnership between the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA), the University of Nairobi (UoN), and the University of Groningen (RUG) to develop the Youth Academy on Climate Adaptation and Leadership, a “train‑the-trainer” model for replication in Africa. The inaugural Academy, held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 18th – 26th September 2024, empowered young Kenyans with the knowledge and skills to become trainers and leaders in climate adaptation within their communities.
