Youth4Adaptation: Young People Shaping the Global Goal on Adaptation

GCA and its Youth Advisory Panel to the CEO launched the report Youth Engagement with the Global Goal on Adaptation, presenting key recommendations following worldwide consultations with young people on the adaptation agenda.

The 60-minute side event at COP27 brought together young people and decision-makers from across youth organizations, civil society, academia, international organizations, and governments to accelerate adaptation action and ensure young people’s perspectives and solutions are promoted to deliver on the Glasgow Climate Pact.

GCA’s Youth Advisory Panel launched the report Youth Engagement with the Global Goal on Adaptation, and presented the youth-led #Youth4Adaptation recommendations, following worldwide consultations with over 7,000 young people through GCA’s seven Regional Youth Adaptation Forums and the inaugural Youth Dialogue on Adaptation Action.
