This event will share and demonstrate China’s adaptation to climate change, as well as successful cases and experiences in global disaster prevention and mitigation and meteorological services of the “Belt and Road” initiative
Event description
The event is hosted by the Department of Climate Change of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Department of Science and Technology and Climate Change of the China Meteorological Administration, and organized by the National Center for Climate Change Strategy Research and International Cooperation, the World Meteorological Organization, the Asian Development Bank, and the Global Center on Adaptation. In combination with the United Nations Action Plan for Early Warning for All, representatives of the government, international organizations, universities, research institutions, media and other representatives are invited to attend the meeting to share and demonstrate China’s adaptation to climate change, as well as successful cases and experiences in global disaster prevention and mitigation and meteorological services of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
