n Murang’a, the devastating impacts of climate change are clear: Droughts are depleting water sources. Floods are damaging infrastructure, farms, and homes. Through the K-WASH program, the Global Center on Adaptation, in partnership with World Bank and local communities, is working to turn these challenges into opportunities for resilience.
Climate-proofing investments: We’re integrating climate adaptation into critical development programs, like the World Bank’s IDA funding, to safeguard livelihoods.
Building capacity: Through our Climate-Resilient Water Services Masterclass, we’re empowering local officials with skills to design and manage water systems built to withstand a changing climate.
Together, we’re ensuring communities, like the ones featured in this film, not only survive but thrive in the face of climate change.
