Event description

Building on lessons learned from the implementation of the Africa Adaptation Acceleration Program (AAAP) , this event, co-organized through a partnership between GCA, AfDB, CGIAR/ TAAT, is to showcase how the AAAP partnership model is driving the integration and upscaling of proven climate adaptation and resilience (A&R) innovations into agricultural investment projects across Africa. Specific country examples will be presented to highlight how the partnership model works in practice, its contributions and benefits and recommendations for its evolution and replication in other regions.

Event Objective
To share a practical partnership engagement model and highlight pathway for scaling A&R agricultural innovations through their integration into IFI’s large-scale agricultural investment program/projects.

  • Enhanced understanding of the contributions and benefits of the AAAP model for scaling adaptation solutions for resilient agri-food systems.
  • Practical insights and lessons shared from country-specific AAAP supported projects, informing future adaptation investments for resilient agri-food systems.
