CEO’s Youth Advisory Panel 2025

T he CEO’s Youth Advisory Panel 2025 will constitute a ten (10) member gender-balanced group from Africa (one from each region: Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern and Central), Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania, and Small Island Developing States, ensuring a fair representation of the global youth adaptation movement.  

Roles and responsibilies

Members of the Youth Advisory Panel 2025 will drive youth engagement with the adaptation agenda with GCA. Specifically, they will:

• Provide advice to promote youth engagement in the adaptation agenda.
• Engage with GCA’s work including sub-regional Youth Adaptation Forums and training.  
• Support advocacy efforts, such as amplifying adaptation campaigns including the Youth Climate Adaptation Action Day, promoting youth perspectives in adaptation policy- and decision-making, and engaging with the Youth Adaptation Network through Youth Adaptation Forums.
• Raise awareness amongst young people on the adaptation agenda and amplify educational resources such as the Toolkit for Youth on Adaptation & Leadership.

Membership
The term of the CEO’s Youth Advisory Panel 2025 is one year, from January to December 2025.
