G lobal Center on Adaptation and the City of Bonn convened the Youth Adaptation Forum Bonn to mobilize the global youth movement on the road to the Africa Climate Summit and COP28. Taking place during the Bonn Climate Conference, the Youth Adaptation Forum Bonn brought together 80 young people and leaders from across governments, civil society, practitioners, international organizations, and decision-makers to foster an intergenerational dialogue on adaptation.

The Forum provided capacity-building to the youth audience on the international adaptation agenda, brought together young people’s views on youth engagement with adaptation policies including the Global Goal on Adaptation and National Adaptation Plans, and sought partners for GCA’s Toolkit for Youth on Adaptation & Leadership.
