This Adaptation Insights report addresses how health systems can be made climate resilient to sustain value chains, healthcare services, and access to care. It introduces two complementary conceptual frameworks that provide a systematic basis for identifying disruptions and guiding adaptation. Together, they examine resilience from two perspectives: maintaining healthcare service provision, including facilities and assets, and ensuring sustained access to healthcare for patients, populations, and vulnerable groups, ultimately leading to actionable adaptation strategies.

This report is an independent, end-of-phase evaluation of the “Scaling up Locally Led Adaptation, Nature-based Solutions, and Financing for Adaptation Programme”, conducted by GOPA Meta Meta. The Programme is under the Bangladesh Climate and Environment Programme (BCEP), funded by the FCDO. 

The Climate Resilient Water Services Masterclass is a practical training programme developed by the Global Center on Adaptation, in collaboration with IRC WASH, to strengthen the capacity of water and sanitation professionals to address climate risks in service planning, infrastructure and operations.
